SKILL INDIA 2019
When children find joy in any art, it becomes their skill if done with passion and devotion. So, ITL Candyfloss found immense pleasure by conducting 'Skill India Week' for its little artists from Monday, 15th - Friday, 19th July 2019.

Day 1 : PAINT YOUR OWN CUSHION COVERS
To make it an everlasting memory to be treasured, we taught our children to print their hands using fabric colors on the cushion covers to make them bright and colorful. The children were amazed to see their palm impression on cloth.

Day 2 : GARDEN HACKS - GROW YOUR VEGETABLES
Growing hybrid seeds like oregano, mint, celery, fenugreek etc. without the use of soil proved to be a great learning by the young learners wherein they were amused by following small steps like putting pebbles, mud, seeds one by one in a glass jar.

Day 3 : MAKING OF BEAUTIFUL VASE FROM MILK TETRA PACKS
Transforming a milk tetra pack into a flower vase enhanced a great sense of imagination in our tiny tots. They learnt to paste tissue paper layers by applying fevicol on the base and also, relayered it using white cement. Then, to create a masterpiece, we let it dry and then painted it to make a beautifully textured vase.

Day 4 : WALL HANGINGS FROM JUTE ROPE
An effort to develop the fine motor skills of our young learners by pasting jute rope in circular motion, on white mount board cut into circle shape, gave them a sense of delightment. The children thoroughly  enjoyed decorating the wall hanging using artificial materials like flowers, leaves, studs etc.

Day 5 : CREATE YOUR FIRST CANDLE
A look of perfect contentment was seen on the face of the little ITLEENS when they were made to create colorful candles by the use of pebbles, water, food colour and edible oil with the help of their teachers.
