Bushel of Ethics and Value

To instill values such as Truth, Kindness, Honesty, Sharing & Caring amongst the li'l ones, Candyyfloss(PRE PRIMARY WING OF ITL) is celebrating a week based on values & ethics.
DAY 1 based on TRUTH was conducted on the first day. Kids were told that telling the truth is a very good habit. And if you always speak the truth, you can save yourselves from lots of trouble. Children made a promise to always speak the truth.
Day - 2 SHARING : Learning to share can be a challenge for children, but sharing is a vital life skill they need for play and learning throughout childhood. It’s something toddlers and children need to learn to take turns, make and keep friends and play cooperatively. Candyyfloss on the second day of value based week taught the kids that sharing teaches about compromise. They learnt that if we give a little to others, we can get some of what we want as well. Candyy Kids made wrist bands and exchanged them with each other.
Day - 3 HONESTY : Honesty is the first chapter of the book of wisdom,” wrote Thomas Jefferson. When it comes to small children and honesty, it’s not usually hard to find. With older children and teens, the truth sometimes becomes more elusive. Candyyfloss teachers helped & guided the children on the correct honesty path through a story session on the third day of value based week.
Day – 4 KINDNESS: Learning to be givers shapes children’s values and provides opportunities to develop kindness, a virtue that improves lives and reduces violence. To inculcate the value of kindness Candyyfloss kids performed a skit to tell their li’l friends about empathy. They showed that empathy is our ability to recognise and respond to the needs and suffering of others which can be seen see in-action all around us. It includes the ways we show caring, kindness, and compassion to people in our lives.

Earth Day

The world marks the Earth Day to make the human race realise the importance of Mother Earth. We, at Candyyfloss, celebrated Earth Day by appreciating the uniqueness of our planet by conducting a collage making group activity by students and also varied ways of how we should protect our nature – Plants, Animals and Environment enacting through short stories.

Welcome Assembly

Making kids come to school after the vacations and getting their attention back to studies is usually the most difficult task. But the scenario is different in Candyyfloss, here it’s a child’s play. To grab the attention of the toddlers in a fun way, the teachers hosted a WELCOME ASSEMBLY. The teachers enacted in a monsoon-theme play whereby they showed all the fun factors of the rainy season. They also educated the students about the possible diseases. Children also witnessed a hilarious quarrel between the VIBGYOR colors of the rainbow debating about their superiority. All in all, it was a fun-frolic cum educational welcoming back for the students where one could hear the Candyyfloss stars laughing and enjoying to their hearts content. To further enhance the experience, the teachers also sang some welcoming songs and presented a rain dance which got twinkles in children’s eyes.

Addition to the above, to ignite the zeal among the students to come to Candyyfloss the week was started with games, art & craft activities, free-hand drawings and so on, so that students are eager to come to school everyday.

This is how Candyyfloss welcomes students “Back To School” to a delightful year ahead with education, games, plays, learning, laughs and growth.

Orientation Program

2nd April 2016 witnessed a scintillating Orientation program held by Candyyfloss (Pre Primary Wing of ITL PUBLIC SCHOOL) as a welcoming tribute for the pre-school parents. The auditorium was packed with eager parents &enthusiastic teachers. The KEY NOTE SPEAKER of the programme was Dr. Jitendra Nagpal , ( MD -DNB, Program Director of Expressions India ) .It was a fantastic opportunity for parents to know what to expect in the coming year and also equip themselves for it.

The program was authenticated by a session to explain the paradigm & pleasure of parenting by Dr. Jitender Nagpal. Our esteemed Principal Ms. Sudha Acharya addressed the parents and motivated them to focus on the quality of learning rather than quantity of learning.

During the session, the parents also learnt about every aspect of the school and about the school policies norms and procedures.

The Programme commenced with a heart felt melodious choir sung by both teachers and students following it were few fun frilled and frolic dance performances by the students prepared by the teachers & the widely known famous Shiamak Daver troupe. A few of students also shared their exciting journey of learning and the exciting journey of learning and experiences in Candyyfloss.

The parents were awestruck by spectacular performance blazed away by the teachers to exhibit how children would grow learn & flourish in Candyyfloss .

It was all together an enjoyable programme which was followed by a lunch held at the multi purpose hall of the school. For the parents and teachers where they had interactions and hence got to know each other.
